The new Pilothouse 700 is making waves

We are proud to be donating the Parker Pilothouse 700 to the Crewsaver team for the Sea Angling Classic, in aid of Cancer Research. Picture pink life jackets and beyond.

What is the Sea Angling Classic?

SAC, the world’s number 1 sea fishing competition, is back for the third year. Teams of 2-4 anglers take to the water in a 2-day catch and release event to catch the longest 3 of a selected 5 species. The team with the highest combined score over the 2 days will be crowned SAC champions!

Crewsaver has entered an all-female team in a fundraising effort for Cancer Research UK, specifically for Breast Cancer. Boat Shop has proudly donated the use of the brand new Pilothouse 700, which made its debut in April 2024! We are excited to see what it can do as Parker designed it to meet the expectations of experienced recreational fishermen and hailed it as ‘the next-generation recreational fishing boat. “The SAC provides the ultimate stage to witness this model in its element. Gemma, representing the Crewsaver team and @shiphappens said that during the qualifiers, ‘the conditions were dreadful, but the boat handled it flawlessly!’ The main event will take place at Premier Marina, Port Solent over the 21st to 23rd of June. Make sure to drop by and witness the Pink Panther (Pilothouse) in action – with a name like that, it’s bound to turn heads. The Journey so far…

Survitec’s leading lifejacket brand, Crewsaver, seized the opportunity to champion awareness for Breast Cancer by unveiling a vibrant pink lifejacket. Efforts were multiplied when they entered the SAC. However just weeks before the qualifier there was one small part to figure out: the boat! The timely arrival of the Pilothouse 700 meant Mick and the team at Boat Shop had the perfect solution and provided the Parker for the duration of the tournament .

A challenging but fantastic effort all around so far, but we are pleased to be supporting the cause, along with brands such as Lowrance, Mercury Marine, and SBS trailers, to mention a few. The team will be navigating the waters at the SAC in June, so keep your eyes peeled as we think the team has already clinched the ‘best dressed’ title.
